The Alicante region is the most popular in the whole of Spain for a number of reasons, an abundance of flight options to the excellent Alicante Airport and the 300 plus days of sunshine. Without a doubt it is becoming harder to find good properties especially in inland locations as this year, in particular, has seen a sales boom with insufficient properties to replace the ones sold. This Finca that is in need of total modernisation yet has enormous potential is just across the border into Castilla La Mancha yet is only 45 minutes to Alicante Airport and the beaches of the Costa Blanca. We are delighted to have it on our books and it will make a truly amazing home with TLC and some money invested in it to bring it up to a high quality. This is all reflected in the price at only 90,000€ 

There is a long driveway which makes for a lovely approach to the Finca and two sets of double gates, all the land of around 10,000m2 is fenced. The land has olive, almonds and other fruit trees.

The covered terrace at the entrance to the Finca is well sized and has a temporary winter cover to one end to trap in the sunshine at the coldest part of the year.

Inside is a spacious lounge/diner with a big feature log burning fireplace that heats up the whole house. The four bedrooms are off the lounge and all of them would benefit from new doors as they have the originals still there and it spoils the appearance. 

The kitchen and interior bathroom is serviceable but would benefit from new fixtures and fittings. There is a superb B&Q type warehouse about 30 minutes away owned by Kingfisher, the owners of B&Q where kitchens start at less than 1,000€ and bathrooms at less than that. Whilst you are there you may want to pick up some of the larger tins of paint as an interior whitewash would make a world of difference and brighten up everything up. 

The garage is huge and an application can be made for change of use if you want more accommodation. Everywhere we looked was dry without any signs of damp and the day before had seen a deluge so we visited at a good time. 

To the rear is a series of outbuildings. The owner, now 98 is finding the upkeep just too much for him but he kept pigeons, chickens and other animals and there is housing for each and more besides. All the outbuildings can be changed providing the footprint is not increased. Personally, I would knock them all down which wouldn´t take long with a lump hammer. 

The swimming pool is the usual type that was previously a water deposit but it is a good size and very private with a small terrace for sunbathing etc. Water is incredibly cheap and the old man used to fill the pool in June for about 8€ and then release the water at the end of September into the land for the trees. Water and Electricity are mains connected. 

We pride ourselves on realistic photos and descriptions and most often with properties in need of reform or modernisation I am told that I have been too harsh but it is important that people understand that this is a liveable property whilst changes are made but realise that almost nothing has been done since it was first built.

Because of the location and the size of the Finca it is easy to say that with modernisation and some work the property would be priced at around 149,995€ so you can see the massive potential.
