The Alicante region is the most popular in the whole of Spain for a number of reasons, an abundance of flight options to the excellent Alicante Airport and the 300 plus days of sunshine. Without a doubt it is becoming harder to find good properties especially in inland locations as this year, in particular, has seen a sales boom with insufficient properties to replace the ones sold.

This quite amazing property is just over the border into Castilla La Mancha still only 45 Minutes to Alicante Airport and beaches but with the advantage of only having 9% so, lower than Alicante.

It´s so hard to know where to begin with this one. First of all the location, it is next to the road that runs between Villena and Caudete. This is hardly a busy road but it needs to be mentioned. The newly reformed property has high-quality double-glazed windows fitted and when you are inside there is no noticeable road noise. On the plus side, it is only five minutes drive to both Caudete and Villena giving you a great choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping opportunities.

The entrance gates open to a courtyard style piece of land in front of the property that has loads of parking space and there is a huge amount of shade from the beautiful pine tree in the centre. The views from here are spectacular. The first thing you notice is the sheer size of the house and that it is built on two floors but form here you can not possibly imagine how far back the building goes and that there are outbuildings so big that one even houses a tractor and trailer as can be seen on the photos.

Inside the main house, it is clear to see that the old farmhouse has been reformed to a very high standard with beautiful doors and a fabulous feature fireplace. The lounge/diner is lovely and full of natural light as nearly all the rooms are.

Downstairs there are three bedrooms and a newly fitted bathroom and kitchen and then upstairs are two more bedrooms. One currently houses the batteries for the Solar Panels where very little expense has been spared. There is electricity in the area that can easily be connected if you are not yet a convert to Solar but I would recommend that you try the solar that is fitted first and then I´m sure you will not feel the need to pay for electricity. Mains drinking water is connected.

At the rear of the property I lost count of the number of outbuildings that are all in good condition and all seem completely dry and have been freshly painted. There are easily enough to make the equivalent of two new houses or just more accommodation and the possibility of an Airbnb operation as the property is so easily accessible and would make a great base for tourists especially those looking for tranquillity and outdoor life.

At 100,000€ we think it is a steal and it really has to be viewed to appreciate it.
